Mr. Ross, the Canadian trade representative, has interviewed the Hon. F. G. Tudor, Minister of Customs, with the view of reopening the question of preferential trade between Australia and Canada. Mr. Tudor stated that he would be glad to consider concrete proposals, and while fairly safeguarding Australian trade, he would be happy if an arrangement could be made that would be of advantage to both c<^ntries.
