WHAT A FIRST-CLASS SHIP MEANS TO LABOUR.
LONDON, 15th May. The First Lord of the Admiralty, Mr. M'Kenna, replying to a question in the House of Commons, said that the building of a Dreadnought gives daily work to 1500 skilled men. Of the total cost 70 per cent, goes in wages.
