WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL. WATER SUPPLY TO WADESTOWM AND NORTHLAND LOAN, £22,550. SPECIAL ORDER MAKING SPECIAIi RATE. NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Wellington City Council, held at the -Town Hall on the 22nd day of April, 1909, iti was resolved : — Tho Council of the City of Wellington in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908," "The Locpl Bodies' Loans Act, 1908," and their respective amendments and all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in that behalf doth hereby resolve by Special Order: — That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a Special Loan of £22,550, authorised to be raised by tho Council of the City of Wellington under the abovementioned Acts fqr the purpose of providing a system of Water Supply for those parts of the City of Wellington known as tho Districts of Northland and Wadestown, being the whole of the districte which were lately included in tho Boroughs of Karori and Onslow, exclusive of the portion thereof formerly part of tho Borough of Karori, which is defined in the first schedule to "The Wellington (City) Suburbs Sanitation Act, 1893," the Council of the City of Wellington hereby makes and levies a Special Rate of fivesixths of a penny (5-6 th d) in the £ on tho Rateable Value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within tho said parts of the City of Wellington, the boundaries and descrip- * lions of which are set forth in the schedule hereto, and that such Special Rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and bo payable halfyearly on the first day of October and the first day of April in each and every year during the curroncy of such loan, being a period of 24 years and 9 calendar months from tho first day of July, 1909, or until tho loan is fully paid off. N.B. — Schedule as set out in Resolution. The above Resolution will be submitted for confirmation at the Ordinary Meeting of tho Council to be held on THURSDAY, the 20th MAY, 1909, at 7.30 p.m., at the Town Hall, Cuba-street, Wellington. NOTICE is hereby given that at. a Special Meeting of the Wellington City Council, held at the Town Hall on the 22nd day of April, 1909, it was resolved: — The Council of the City of Wellington in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908," and "The Local Bodies' (Loans Act, 1908," and their respective amendments and all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in that behalf doth hereby resolve by Special Order: — That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a Special Loan of £40,100 authorised to be raised by the Council of the City of Wellington under the abovementioned Acts for the purpose of constructing a Tramway to Wadesto\yn and acquisition of properties in connection therewith tho Council of the City of Wellington hereby makes and levies a Special Rate of fourpence (4d) in the £ on the rateable value (on tho basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within that part of the City of Wellington formerly comprised in the South Ward of the Borough of Onslow, tho boundaries of which are set forth in the schedule hereto ; and that such Special Rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and bo payable half-yearly on the first day of October and the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 24 years and 9 calendar months from the Ist day of Juty, 1909, or until tho loan is fully paid off.
