GARRISON OFFICERS' CLUB.

Last year's sessions of the Wellington Garrison Officers' Club set a new standard of excellence, but it is hoped to maintain it in the* approaching winter. A syllabus for winter lectures has been drawn up by Colonel Robin, president of the club, and arrangements for the suggested lectures are being made by a committee consisting of Lieut.-Colonel Duthie and Captain Courtney, xg]vi will submit a list of dates and lectures to next meeting. The club night has been altered from Tuesday to Friday, and .«ocial evenings are to be arranged. The annual ball is to bo held in .the Garrison Hall, and preliminary arrangements are being made by a committee comprising Colonels Collins, Campbell, and Duthie, Majors Hughes, Hume, and Mackintosh, Captains Richardson, O'Sullivan, Davis.
