METROPOLITAN (5) v. VICTORIA COLLEGE A (4). This was a good, fast game all through, especially in the first spell, which ended in a draw, both sides scoring 1 each. The second spell was a little in favour of Metropolitan. St. Patrick's College Old Boys won from Government Life Insurance by default. THIRD-CLASS. St. Patrick's College Old Boys defeated Wesley by two goals to nil. Miller and Gallagher were prominent among the Old Boys. Mr. Hunter was the referee. Government Life Insurance, owing to the death of Mr. D. M. Luckie, defaulted to Metropolitan, who, however, played a game with a Thorndon junior team defeating them by 3 goals to nil. Guise did , all the scoring. Mr. P. Kennedy refereed. * Victoria College A was victorious in its match with Wellington by 11 goals to nil. The latter, however, were playing thiee men short. Mr. Turner refereed" Victoria College B had a win from Gregg's by 6 goals to 2. Mr. A. Porter I was the referee. LADIESr PRACTICE GAMES. j The Celtic B third-class team played in, team from Victoria College and were defeated by twa goals to nil. Both goals were scorefl by Miss Ham. Mr. J. E. Kelly refereed. Victoria College inflicted defeat upon Petone by 3 goals to nil. The scorers were Miss Casey (2) and Miss Bissett.
