FRIENDS' CONFERENCE.

The conference of the members of the Society of Friends resumed this morning. Several hours were devoted to a discussion on the question of starting a Friends' Colony in New Zealand. All the speakers strongly favoured the idea. The question of establishing a Friends' school in conjunction with the proposed settlement was also discussed. This afternoon Dr. Hodgkin deliveie an address on "Predestination." The conference will be continued until Wednesday evening.
