KARORI HOCKEY CLUB.

«. In the tenth annual report of the Karori Hockey Club, held last night, comment is made upon the successful season experienced. The senior team finished second in the competition, while the juniors, who were handicapped by a dearth of members, fought out each game with a creditable spirit. The Wednesday players also put up a good performance. Messrs. C. Campbell, A. J. Cathie, G. Davies, and H. Willis—all members of the clvb — played in representative matches. The balance-sheet showed that the sum or £17 17s 6d was to the credit of the club. The election of officers for the year resulted as follow : — President, Mr. C. H. Dickerson ; vice-presidents, Messrs. T Campbell, L. Hill, and J. F. Spiers; auditor, Mr. C. I. Dasent ; captain, Mr. G. W. Davies; vice-captain,. Mr. T. Sfiers; management committee, Messrs. W. E. Dasent, Putnam, W. Cooper, and M Spiers ; match committee, Messrs. G. W. Davies, H. Willis, W. E. Dasent ; secretary, M. A. G. Cathie ; treasurer, Mr. E. Atkin ; delegates to association, Messrs. Putnam and Fulton. An offer of the use of a ground by the Karori Borough Council was accepted. It is intended to again enter a team for. the tonior competition.
