The Boys' Institute Cricket Club closed its season with a celebralion in honour of their junior A team last night, Mr. R. E. Ward, President of the club, being in the chair. Refreshments were served and items contributed by Masters BarraH, Jennings, Richard?, and Shorney. Mr. Ward referred to tho fact that tli6 A team hpd won every match, and i( »vas also mentioned that the B team, had finished fifth place in a league of 17 tenilis. WhitertYl also received a but, a gift from the president, for the best baiting average in tho club, and was announced as holding the record for tho league (140 not out).
