AT LAST.
HUNTLY TROUBLE ENDED. TERMS OF AGREEMENT. [BY TELEGRAPH — PRESS ASSOCIATION.] AUCKLAND, This Day. The Huntly strike is now ended, This morning an adjourned meeting of miners discussed the terms proposed by the company through the Hon. Mr. M'Kenzie, and agreed by ballot to accept them in toto. The terms agreed upon are as follow :—: — The four alleged "blacklegs" remain at work, the company agreeing to dismiss them if it can be proved at any time to the satisfaction of the directors that any of them act . in an arbitrary or revengeful manner. All officials of the company must immediately withdraw from membership of the union. Ten days' wages will be paid to the miners, this being the time which has elapsed from the coming into force of the new Act, and the Government guarantee covering pneumoconiosis. A statement of the causes leading to the trouble appears on page 7 of this issue.
