SEDITION SPREADING. A LONG-STANDING CONSPIRACY. NUMEROUS ARRESTS. ! By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright. CALCUTTA, 15th December. The spread of sedition in the Bengal Province continues, and numerous addi- j tional arrests have been made. | Those apprehended include landowners, journalists, and students. It has now been discovered that tha conspiracy is one of long standing, and that it is much more serious than was first thought to be the case. The organisation is most complete, and includes special sections to deal with various branches of the movement. Among these are the establishment of newspapers, the collection of arms, the j manufacture of bombs, the watching of the police, and the accumulation of funds. The last-named objective is to be attained by raids if necessary.
