LATE SHIPPING.
THE SYDNEY STEAMER. The Moeraki, which left Sydney for Wellington direct at 3 p.m. last Saturday, passed Stephen's Island at 1.45 o'clock this afternoon, and snould be in the stream by 0 o'clock tonight. MISHAP TO ARAHURA. i At 3 a.m. to-day the Arahura left Westport in continuation of ber voyage from Greymouth to Wellington. The Union Company has received communication stating that whije travelling up the coast from Westport to Nelson she dropped one of her propellers. She is timed to leave Nelson .it 5 o'clock this evening, and should make this port in the morning. When her cargo has been discharged | she will be placed on the Patent Slip. THE MORAYSHIRE REPORTED. Word of the Morayshire, coming from Liver- [ pool, has been received by her local representatives. According to the advice she passed Cape Saunders tins morning. The vessel ib coming up under easy steam, as she has had an accident to ber condenser. She is duo in Wellington on Friday. The yacht White Heather, owned by ""Ir. E. L. Bucholz, arrived in Wellington this morning. The Wairau is omitting her visit here tomorrow from Nelson, but will arrive on Saturday. This afternoon the Ktoi is to leave Greymouth for Westport and Onehimga. There was too much sea on the bar at Greymouth tliis morning for the Poheraa to cross outwards on her way to Wellington. Wellington, via Westport, are the ports to ; be made by the Kaituna which is to leave' I the Grey to-morrow afternoon. [ Owing to bad weather the Union Company's I excursion to-day from Lyttelton to Akaroa has j j been abandoned.
