In reply to- a question in the Assembly the State Premier (Mr. Wade) said it was hardly necessary to say that there was no foundation for the statement that the State Government was run by Freemasons. In the course of a speech at Sydney, Cardinal Moran asserted thai the administration of tho State Governments was passing into the hands of the Freemasons. Members of the order declare that the charge is absurd and opposed to fact.
