The selectors of the Auckland Cricket Association selected to-night fourteen players from whom the eleven to play Otago and Canterbury will bo chojjen. The players are as follow: — Brook-Smith, Cuinxnings, A. Francis, Hadden, Hemus, Howderi, Jacobsen, Jones, Mason, MacCormjck, Relf, Robinson, Sale, and Stemson. The final eleven chosen will comprise the strongest batting combination that has ever represented the province, no fewer than five of the fourteen having scored centuries this season. V REPRESENTATIVE TEAM. WELLINGTON "CANTERBURY. The Wellington representative team to play Canterbury at Christchurch on tho 25th, 26th, and 28th December includes : — Monaghan, J. P. Blacklock, Bruce, C. Hickson, Brice, Connolly, Mahoney, Hawthorn, Cate, Alpe, and Midlane. The team will leave Wellington on Wednesday 23rd December, and any players unable to make the trip should notify the secretary of tho association. WEDNESDAY CRICKET.
