[Bx Telkgbaph. — Special to Thb Po*t.) FEATHERSTON, This Day. A new survey has just been completed of the Wairarapa Racing Club's course at Tauherenikau, and if suggested changes are adopted by the stewards they will be a decided improvement. The district Toad metalling contract an the Featherston County has been completed at a cost of £1574. There were 6944^ cubic yards of metal spread in connection with the contract. Dairy cows are realising good prices in the Wairarapa at the present time, the best average so far being- that obtained at Messrs. Bockett Bros.'s 6ala, which was £6 16s, the previous best average being £6 12s. Messrs. Bockett. Bros, are going in foi- sheep farming. Practically the whole of the dairy factories will be working by the* I first week in September. \
