The Liberal party held a meeting at Feilding last night, and' made arrangements to select a candidate to oppose Mr. Lethbridgo (states a Press Association message). On Monday morning E. J. Searl is to bo brought up for public examination, before Mr. D. G. A. Cooper, Registrar of the Supreme Court, who lias' been delegated power to conduct the examination by Mr. Justice Chapman. By far tha greatest of the problems boforo New Zealand in th»t of immigration and the finding of erapioymont for those who are daily arriving to these shares.
