THE DEATH OF MR. BASKIVILLE

Owing to the death of Mr. A. H. Baskiville, the ''All Blacks" were desirous of abandoning the balance of their matches in Australia, but the New South Wales Rugby League, having bebn put to considerable expense, could not see its way to sanction this. Six members of the team, including Mr. Palmer, accompany the body to New Zealand. They are leaving by the Monowai to-morrow.
