ROBBERY FROM A TRAIN.

THE ARRESTED WOMAN. By Telegraph.— Press Association.— 'Copyr.rM^ (Received May 22," 8 a.m.) , LONDON, 21tst May. - In connection with the theit of a package of jewellery and securities " f^om a railway train at Manchester, the thief, who was arroated at Liverpool, described herself as .Margaret Gardner, a widow. She pawned a portion o% the contents of the package and shared the proceeds with two racecourse frequenters. The package was one of four deposited by a lady and gentleman in %h& guard's van of a train about to start from 'Manchester "for Liverpool. Tpe guard did not see them deposited.
