AN UNLIGHTED BEACON.
I_BY TEtBGSAPH. — PRESS ASSOCIATION.! DAGAVILLE, This Day. Messrs. A. E. Harding and Captain Pearce waited on the Premier this morning in reference, to tho beacon recently placed, at tho entrance to - Helcnsville Creek. Tho deputation pointed out that the beacon was jt. danger to navigation and required lighting. After discussing tho subject, Sir Joseph Ward said thaX as the beacon was evidently o- risk to the travelling public he would recommend his colleague tho Minister of Marine to have a light placed on the beacon.
