FULLERS' ENTERTAINERS. Tho ranks of Fullers' Entertainers were supplemented last evening by several new artists, whose items augur well for a capital entertainment tonight, when there will be a change of programme. Professor Davy's Royal Marionettes mado theii' re-appearance, and Messrs. Chas. C. Ward, a clover comedian, and Fred. Bransgrove, appeared for the first time. OPERA HOUSE. Last evoning there was again a good audience, which Mr. Carter easily kept amused and bewildered. Miss Abigail Price continued her exhibition of thought-transference, to the obvious astonishment of thoso. present. This afternoon v, matinee will be nekl, and tho season will bo closed by tho evening performance. THE ROYAL PICTURES. Another large audience assembled 1 at His Majesty's Theatre last evening to witness tho Royal Pictures.. A complete change of programme is announced for tonight. CLARA BUTT-RUMFORD •CONCERTS. TWo full programme for Tuesday night's concert is advertised in this issue. Madame Clara Butt will sing, "Softly Awakes My Heart," from Sameon and Delilah (Saint Saens) ; "England, Mother England," with organ accompaniment by Mr. J. Maughan Barnott, who will also act in the samo capacity in Mr. Rumford's song, "Tho Lament of Shah Jehan'" (Landon, Ronald), and also in the, duet, "Break Divine Light" (Allitseu). Madame Butt will also sing "The Silver Ring" (Chaminade); and will probably repeat one of the popular huccesFes of her previous season. Mr. Kennedy Rumford has decided to sing two fcf Mr. Alfred Hill's compositions at the first concert : "Waiata Poi," and a Maori Canoo Song. Mr. Carl Barre will play tho "Finale" from Mendelssohn's Concert, and ''Hejre Kati" (Hubay). Mr. Frank Merrick will play -"Toccata" (Schumann), and "Impromptu" (Bcachcroft), and -with Mi*. Barrc a duet for piano and violin by Mozart. Mr. Arthur Godfrey will, as usual, bo the accompanist. Messrs. J. and N. Tait announce that tickets ior all parts may bo secured nt the Drescn, with the> exception of the halfcrown scats, which will bo sold at the doors only. The 5s tickets are also obtainable at Abel's. WIRTH'S CIRCUS. On Monday night Wirth's circus will open on the old tramway site, Adelaideroad. Of the twenty-seven items on the programme, it' is promised that twenty will be> new to Wellington. The "star" turn will be Hagenbcck's wild best act. The company also includes : — Mr. John Welby Cook, the great jockey act rider ; Sampsia Osado, Japanese contortionist; Mon?. Marco, lion and tiger trainer; Captain Rose, animal trainer; Senor Don Herbertino, "champion tablo and barrel manipulator" ; Fvaulein Hertzog, equestrianno, "the gucen of tho circus" (from Rentz's circus, Berlin) ; the Ozzapardi Trio in what is described as a most, sensational acrobatic act in a dogcart; the Flying Herberts, Miss Phillipina, Miss Marizlcs, Miss Cooke, Eddie and May, tho children's circus, Captain Burrows and his trained elephants, etc. ! The Wellington Pipo Band and Danrors Club will give a concert and dance in the Concert Chamber of tho Town Hall on Friday, 13th. March. Tho second annual "social" under the auspices of tho Cooks and Waiters' Union will be held in tha Druids' Hall on Wednesday, 18th March.
