[BT TELEGRAPH. — ntES.-t ASSOCIATION.] CimiSTCHUKCH, This Day. Hon. J. A. Millar received a deputation this morning of agricultural implement makers. A clause in the Tariff Act provides that v hen dutiable imported materials are niado up into nondutiable goods, the makers may have the duty leturned. At present the difficulties put in ( the v. ay of op.'iiit-jiis.' the clause made it almost unworkable, and thp. deputation asked that the facilities should be improved. Mr. Millnju>romiscd to look into the matter and^f his best.
