PRAYERS FOR RAIN. TO THE EDITOR

Sir,— Might I suggest to the Ministers' Association, through the medium of your paper, that prayers be offered up next, Sunday evening in their various churches for win, and that the ministers aak their congregations to co-operate publicly and individually in these prayers during ths service. I feel sure this step would meet with willing and earnest response, and as one carrying a greater amount of weight with it has a more likely and speedier chance of accomplishing its purpose. — 1 am, etc., IN GOD WE TRUST.
