The booking for the Clara Butt and! Kenrcrlcy lii'mford farewell conrerts opened at Tho Dresden this morninc, and the demand for scats indicates two crowded houses.. The concert will tako place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings of next week, and on Friday" the party return by tho Marama to Australia, where a brief farowcll tour of tno Cominonv/eplth will be entered upon. On Tuesday evening Madame Butt will sing "Mon coeur," from "Samson ct Dalila" (St. Saens); "England, Mother England" (E. C. Booth's famous patriotic ballad); "The Little Silver Ring" (Chaminade), and Ihc duet "Break Diviner Light" (Allitscn), with Mr. Konnerley Kumford, who will be heard in tho dramatic scene "The Lament of Shah Jehan," by London Ronald: "Tears, Idle Tears," and "0 Swallow Swallow," composed by the late Sir Arthur Sullivan for Mr. Rumford. Mr. Maughan Barnelt has been engaged to play tho organ obligato at tho first concert, as such songs as "The Lament of ,Shah Jchan," and "England, Mother England ' require special treatment to bring out their effectiveness. Mr. Carl Barre and Mr. Frank Merrick will con- ' tnoutc to tho programme as before, m well as Mr. Arthur Godfrey. OPERA HOUSE. The many clever and mysterious tricbi performed by Carter, the magician, and Miss Abigail Price, were watched with the greatest attention and interest by the audience which assembled at the Opera Houso last night. Tho programme will be repeated this evening, and on W ednesday afternoon th*rc -will ' bo a special matinee for ladies. FULLERS ENTERTAINERS. Tho vaudeville entertainment provided by the Fuller Proprietary at the Theatre Royal continues to attract satisfactory audiences. The new' programme this week contains material for much amusement, tile ballads of Miss Brightie Smith, the spectacular gymnastics of the Vantells Bros., and the singing and dancing of Miss Mill vena Moore, achieving popularity. Other '"tun*" aro cloan and mirthful, and tho series of biograph studies are a welcome addition to a bright programme. - ' SAILORS REST. An attractive programme was given last evening at the Sailors' Best by a concert party under tho direction of Mr. Boyd. A large number of sailors were present. Those contributing to the programme were : — Missess Black, Rivers, and Melrose ; Mesdames Boyd and Searlo; Messrs. Cuthbert, Boyd, Flebcher, Tunley, Nicholls and Foulstick. ROYAL PICTURES. The Royal Pictures, which are bein? shown at His 'Majesty's Theatre, still continue- to attract large audiences. The films, "which are both amusing and instructive, are shown with good effect.
