LOCAL ANO GENERAL <*, Interest in the sculling championship, which is to be decided at Wnnganni tomorrow, has reached an acute pomt — a fact which is emphasised by an article sent by our special reporter at Wanganni and published on page 2-^of this issue, This morning a fairly large number of Wellington residents Jeft for the scene of the contest, and it is expected more will go by train this afternoon. To-morrow evening a special edition of The Post will be issued, giving a description of the v race. A number of dairy inspectors will assemble in Wellington next week for the purpose of receiving instructions from Mr. Quinncll, M.R.C.V.S., in veterinary matters relating to their duties. Instruction will also be given in other subjects by oflicers of the department.
