MAGISTRATE'S COURT. A sitting of the Petone Gourb was held this morning, before Dr. M'Arthur, S.M., and Messrs. Inglis aud Mothes, Justices of the Peace. Tae case against John Quinn, jun., charged with disuiderly behaviour, was further adjourned. Prohibition oider« were is&ued against George and Emma Tc Puni. T. Price obtained judgment against E. A. Moon for amount claimed, £14 8? 9d, with costs £1 10s 6d. In a defended case, A. Pnximos v. Demctres Gnrbes. claim £21. for wages due, judgment was entered for plaintiii for £6, with costs £2 4s. A detachment of tiie Third Batt-ilion Cadets this morning visited the Geu Company'h works* at Petone. The boys' time has by no means been entirely spent in military training, as several visits of this kind have been made tc local industries.
