V.M.C.A. SWIMMING ClyUB. In connection with the 1 .M.O. A. Ama« teur Swimming Club a handicap- diving contest was held at the Te Aro Baths last evening. The contest resulted in a tie between G. P. Han'na (set) and S. L. Mark (9 points), with R. Baker (4 point*) second. T. Drew (10 points) a.nd. \V: L. Wilson (3 points) also competed. < WATER POLO. A heat in the water polo championship was played at the Te Aro Baths '.yesterday between teams from the Wellington and Swifts Clubs. The Swifts "won by 9 goals to nil. Wilmotf-pV goals), Freyberg (3 goals), and Lynch (2 gfals) scored from the winners. L: Bridge' and Kelly played a good game for the losers.
