ELDERLY WOMAN BURNED TO DEATH.
[BT TELEGRAPH. — PP.ESS ASSOCIATION. I HOKITIKA, This Day. A fire ocurred at Kumara at midnight, a small dwelling being burned to the ground. The remains of the occupant, an elderly woman, named Mis Cato, woro found among the ruins close to the portion of the iircplaco. Somo few years ago, deceased fell over a cliff in the same vicinity and was exposed for some days, being unablo to move o%sing to a broken leg.
