The wheat N and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is 3,790,000 quarters; for the Continent, 1,730,000 ; Atlantic shipments, 249,000; Pacific, 198,000. LONDON WOOL SALES. ' Mosßrs. Levin and Co., Ltd., nave received the following cable from their London agents, the National Mortgage and Agency Co., of N.Z., Ltd., dated London, Bth February, 1908: — "Tho wool ealeß havo closed. Merinos generally have closed firm ou. a par with the opening rates and with keen bidding ; medium and crossbreds closed at a decline 'of 7£ per cent, ou the opening ' rates — buyers are operating very sparingly for thig class of wool."
