The negotiations which have been in progress for some time past for -the lease of the Wellington Opera. House to Mr. J. C. Williamson have practically been concluded. The lease is for five years, from the first day of last month. It is understood thai the terms from the point of view of the shareholders, are of a %cry satisfactory character. The theatre will be available for use for other entertainments when not required by Mr. Williamson's companies.
