At Rugby football, England (two goals and a try) defeated Iroland (a penalty goal). Portus, v Sydneyjte, played for England. Last month, after a very exciting game, England Avas defeated by Wale 3 by 28 points to 18. Last season Scotland won the championship, Wales being second, and Ireland third. England did not win a match.
