A SURPRISED ROBBER. DROPS A BAG CONTAINING JEWELLERY.
By Telecraph.— Prosa Aeaeeintion.—Copyrlght. (Received February 10, 10.43 a.m.) ADELAIDE, This Day. Detectives came across a man canying a bag. Tho man bolted and dropped the bag, which was found to contain tho whole of tho proceeds of tho Payneham jewellery robbery. Tho man was not captured. Payneham is a suburb of Adelaide. The value of the jewellery stolen is set down at £800.
