BUSINESS TO BE SOLD. There was a largo attendance of shareholders at tho third' half-yearly meeting of the Public Service Co-opendivc Society, held iv the Chamber of Commerce last night. Mr. C. It. C. Eobieson presided. The report and balance-sheet, showing a loss of £1598 4s on the halfyear's working, as already published were adopted after considerable discussion. In accordance with notice the chairman moved that the capital of the society be reduced by dividing the 10,000 shares of £1 each paid up into 20,000 shores of 5s each, one of the latter to be allotted for each £1 share fully paid up.
