! SIR JAMES MILLS AS VOLUNTEER CAPTAIN. [Br Telegraph.— Special to The Post.] DUNEDIN, This Day. Sir James Mills, who was recently elected honorary captain of the Dunedin Engineers, was formally introduced to the company last night by Colonel Robin, who said the fact of a gentleman so well known as Sir James giving his services "to the volunteer cause could not fail to awaken interest, and volunteering would benefit accordingly. He hoped there were many gentlemen in tho Dominion possessing his influence who would take tho same practical interest in volunteering matters, as such actions would do immeasurable good to the cause.
