DAMAGE BY FIRE.
A CREAMERY DESTROYED. OUTLOOK NOT CHEERING. [BT TELEGRAPH. — PIIKSS ASSOCIATION.] FEILDING, This Day. Tho Apiti Dairy Company's creamery at Table Flat was destroyed by bush fire last night. The fires are still burning in tho Apiti and "Rangiwahia districts. There is no immediate danger, but unless the rain comes or the v.md keeps down, there may bo serious damage within ths next week. t DESTRUCTION OF A BOARDINGHOUSE. BLENHEIM, This Day. A restaurant at Seddon, owned by D. Lambert, and occupied by Mrs. A. Byford, was destroyed by 'fire early this morning. Efforts of a bucket, brigade wero successful ir saving Fuller's genoral store adjoining. The insurances were :— Building, £80 in the Phoenix and £65 in tho New Zealand Office ; furniture, £100 in the Liverpool, London, and Globe.
