Government, as the result of the settlement of the indemnity, has ordered the evacuation of the Chumbi Valley. . By the treaty with. Tibet in 1904, the Chumbi Valley was to be occupied by British troopa until the war indemnity had been paid. Payment of the last instalment of tbo indemnity was announced ia our cable columns on Wednesday.
