Oliver and T. Iredale for assistance from the Hutton Fund in connection with their expedition to the Kermadec Islands. The latter was received. Dr. Chilton 'said the applicants belonged to an expedition comprising a number of young men who wero interested in natural history, but who lacked scientific training. The Otago Institute had helped them to the extent of £20, and the Canterbury Institute had given them £10.
