SHIP ABANDONED AT SEA.

The underwriters have received a cablegram that the ship Eclipse, coalladen from Newca-stlo to San Fcrancisco, has been abandoned at sea. CAPTAIN AND CREW SAFE. (Received January 31, 0.30 a.m.) LONDON, 30tb January. The captain and crew of the abandoned ship Eclipse have lnnded at Hunua, in the Sandwich Islands. There ara three sailing vessels named Eclipse — one British and two Ameiican. There is little doubt that the ship abandoned IB the one whose port of registry is San Francisco. She is a wooden vessel of 1595 tons, built in 1878 at Bath, Maine, U.S.A.
