RECIPROCITY.
* FRANCE AND UNITED STATES. REDUCTION OF DUTIES. By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright. NEW YORK, 29th. January. The reciprocity agreement between the United States and France has been signed at Washington. Under this an abatement of 20 per cent, in the duties on champagne and sparkling wines is conceded to France, and in return the French Government applies the minimum tariff to American products.
