Fat cattle.— Tho entry comprised 252 head, the yarding being a mixed one. There were a few lines of prime beef, but tho majority of the yarding was not of a high class. The demand was poor, and a considerable number of lines were passed. As compared with last week's sale there- was an all-round decline in tho prico of beef of about -#3 per 1001b.
