The Federal Gazetto announces that regulations have been issued by the two High Commissioners (French and British) of the New Hebrides, prohibiting the importation of, or trade in, spirits, without permission of the commissioners, or the distillation of spirits in the group. Vila is made the sole port of entry for the group.
