Tho annual report of tho Carterton Methodist Sunday School, presented st a meeting last night, showed the roll number to be 95, with an average attendance of 59. The teaching staff numbers 12, with an avfcrage attendance of 11. The receipts for the year totalled £11 2s lOd, and expenditure £11 13s 9d, leaving a debit balance of 10s lOd. A junior Christian Eideavour Society was formed during the year, and the Hammond system of roll marking adopted. The Greytown Fruit Growing Company has !>een registered. A bridge is to be erected at Western Lake by the Featherston County Council by day labour.
