♦ LONDON WOOL SALES. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., has receieveed tho following cablegram from London this morning under yosiarday's dato: — "Wool. — Sales gain firmness as they progress. Since opening of sales prices for good and medium greasy merinos are higher. Since close of last salos prices for medium and coarse greasy crossbred, unless suitable for tho American market, are lower by pai to £d per lb."
