THE SAD DEATH OF A GIRL. ■■■ ■■ ■♦ CORONER'S REMARKS. [Br YELEGRArK. — rKESS ASSOCIATION.] DUNEDIN, This Day. At the inquest on Kathleen Mc^de, who was sßot at St. Kilda. on Thursday morning, the coroner, in summing up, said : — You have heard all the evidence. I think that after the- evidence of the doctor in respect of the direction of the -wounds, and also that of the father of the unfortunate girl as to what is likely to have taken place, we may conclude that it was purely an accident. There was no motive for suicide. She was in good health and spirits, and on the best of terms with her family. The doctor too, has refuted any possibility of scandal. I think you will be perfectly justified in returning a verdict of accidental death. Without retiring tho jury found that the cause of death was hemorrhage occasioned bj r a revolver bullet wound accidentally inflicted by herself.
