Mr. Joseph Cooke Jackson, Attorney-/ General of New York, in addressing a gathering of New York business men, declared that the lawless methods of pirate bankers were only comparable to those of tho Tammany-Tweed ring. When he investigated the affairs of wobbling banks ho met many men ought to b Q in gaol. Mr. Metz, Comptroller for the City of New York, asserts that the financial panic is not over. Good times cannot return until complete confidence is restored throughout the country.
