ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL.
At the meeting of the Wellington Footbail Association held last night, with Mr. H. M'Keowcn in the chair, the protest of the Swifts Club against Petone Wanderers for alleged breach of the rules wn,s dismissed. The Now Zealand Football Association wrote acknowledging the nomination of Messrs, ,1. G. W. Aitken and H. N, Holmes as vice-presidents of tins Now Zoaland Association. Tho question of spectators encroaching on tho touch lino was discussed. Tho hope was expressed that nwmbors of tho association wankl do their best to put an end to tho nuisance.
