MATENGA IN COURT.
o PREPARED TO MAKE' A STATEMENT. [BY TELEaHAPn.— PRESS ASSOCIATION.] GISBOBNE, This Day. Hare Matenga, who was captured by Detective Broberg's parly a few days ago, was brought up on three charges today, including tho original case of horsestealing five yoars ago, in consequence of which he cleared lo the bush. Jle was remanded till to-morrow. Matenga expressed a desire to have tho cases heard together. He Gnid ho was prepared to make a statement when tho proper time came.
