NEW ZEALAND-CANADIAN SERVICE.
[BT TELEGRAPH. — I'HES<S ASSOCIATION.] AUCKLAND, 19th December. Advices Avers received to-day that Messrs. Bucknall Bros., of London, have withdrawn from the cargo steamship service between New Zealand and Canada, and their steamers, 'the I'ondo and Bucentaur, hava been recalled to England. The service is now in tlie hands of the Den of Ogil Company, Ltd., under tho management of C'has. Barrio
and Sons, of Dundee whose fleet consists of tho Den of Airlie. (5000 tons), Den of Crombip. Den of Kelly. Den of Manis, Den of Ogil (all 6000 tons), and Den of_ Ruthven (5000 tons). The last named steamer is now en route to Wellington, and after loading there will proceed to Auckland, wher.-» she is expected on tho 26th inst. She it' timed to leave Auckland on the 28th for Vancouver, via Honolulu. Thv> new scr.vico will be a monthly one, and the steamers will leave Vancouver and Auckland on fixed dates.
