MASTER BUILDERS.
The annual meeting of the Wellington Master Builders' Association was held this week. Mr. W. H. Bennett, president, was Id the chair. The leport laij before the meeting statsd that tho presens membership was 94. The officers of the Wellington Association had been elected the executive of the New Zealand Master Builders' Federation. Good work had beep done during tho year. The general conditions of contract agreed upon between the builders and architects at Timaru iv 1905 had clearly denned the conditions of concracts, ani the position was much more satisfactory. Eegret ■ was expressed at the death of Mr. Thomas Tumbull, architect. Officers were elected as follows :- -President, Mr. W. H- Bennett (re-elected) ; vicepresident, Mr. D,. M'Lean; secretary, Mr. W. E. Grenfell (re-elected) ; treasurer, Mr. W. G. Emeny; committee, Messrs. W. L. Thompson, H. D. James, and J. Trevor ; auditors, Messrs. J. Nicholson and Harbottle ; delegates to the New Zealand Federation, Messrs D. M'Lean, W. L. Thompson, and J. Kussell.
