A NEW PARASOL.
The newest parasol hrs an inverted stick, with the handle at the point whero tho ferrule usually ;s,; s, and tho ferrule at the end commonly used as tho handle. This construction enables tho parasol to be employed as a walking-stick; it is called tho crutch parasol. The handlo in one specimen takes tho form of a parakeet,- in natural coloiu lings, and when tho sunshade is unfuiled the bird looks as if poised for flight •upon the summit of the silken, clomp. Another crutch parasol is shaped like a shepherd's ciook, and is m^do of cut crystal enshrining a rose. — Dail\ Mail.
