THE KRUPP MILLIONS.
As previously announced an heir to the Krupp millions was born la&t week at Essen. The- child is the son of Herr Krupp yon Bohlen und llalbach .and Bertha, tha daughter of the late owner of the Krupp works, who married about v. year ago. Herr Krupp yon Bohlen, in announcing tho birth of his son to the Krupp company, stated that tho child would receive the name of Alfred, in honour of his eminent nnoe&tor. He expressed the hope that iho boy would grow up in tho Krupp shops and by practical work fit himsolf later to take over tho responsibilities 01 management. According to his grandfather's will, thiß boy, will, on attaining his majority, inherit the great Krupp works, the capital of which.now amounts to £8,000,000. Tho name of Krupp also survives with him, tho Empeior having last year toi:forred upon Herr yon Bohlen tho right to use Krupp as part of his burnamc .and to transmit it io his son.
