DEAR SIRS — In answer to your enquiries as to how tho Milner's Safo opened by mo preserved its contenta,l havo to report as follows: — Sinco tho lato disastrous Fire I havo opened , Milner's, ( , and Safes, and have have to say that tho paperstaken from the Milner's Safo were in better order than thoso in either of the others. Tho wholo of the contents of one of tho Safes, which was a large double-door safe (not Milner's) were absolutely destroyed. Tho Milner's, , and Safes v/ore all close together in the one building.
